The My Niece Nicky Charitable Fund for Sickle Cell Anemia Research established by the ULC Denver provides grants and fellowships to professionals and student researchers with ideas and projects dedicated to bettering the experience of patients living with and/or being treated for Sickle Cell Anemia.
This Charitable Fund named in honor of our Founder and Executive Director Niece Nicky, focuses on supporting researchers and their projects by covering costs for data analysis needs, equipment for experiments, lab time; transportation, food and housing when researchers are in the field along with other essentials items required to complete research. By alleviating some of these research related burdens, we aim to help researchers focus more on the efficiency and completion of their projects.
Join us in making a meaningful difference—donate today to support these much needed research endeavors.
The fund accepts applications and offers grants and micro-loan awards two times a year. Eligible researchers may apply via the Request Assistance button below.
